Prevention Education

Prevention-education uses skills-based instruction using research-based strategies to change behavior that involves healthy decision-making about your individual health and others around you.

Most prevention-education is implemented using an Evidence-Based Intervention (EBI) that are curriculum models that have been piloted, tested and researched extensively to deem them effective. All EBIs are placed on a list that by theme and organization around the country and world use them as part of their interventions in their setting.
